I have a BA degree in business management but am now wanting to pursue a teaching degree. Where do I start?

I guess you have to ask yourself some questions. Do you want a traditional school? Or distance?

Once you narrow down your choices of schools then you will be able to focus on your direction a bit more. In the mean time, have a clear view of your courses that were taken to obtain your first degree so that they can compare what might be needed. I know my school Vermont College requires 3 semesters minimum, but the offer teaching. You will also have to be sure that where you take your schooling will give you the certification that you need to teach where you want to teach.

Good luck.

Hi! Just saw your post and thought I would mention that here in Philly the Dept. of Ed offers a program for people holding BA's. you can teach in th eschool system until you earn your Masters. it is teaching in the inner city. perhaps there is something similar in Tejas

Wow, how exciting! Great idea Jim. I do wonder how many things and opportunties are available that we do not know of?
