I have tried going to a private college, but I found out it was too expensive. I am considering going to a community college for eith computers, or the health field, but the degree is online. It is still an accredited college because itis a regular community college. I am hestitant because people may not take me serious because it is a online degree. What would you do?

Here is a website you can use to check on the status of accreditation:

http://www.ope.ed.gov/accreditation/Search.asp

Make you sure check it before you decide to enroll.

Good Luck!!!

There are some De facto standards that are not developed by accrediting agencies but are accepted by lots of online colleges and universities.
