Like other returning students, my prior grades in college were nothing to brag about. I am planning on returning to community college and working on my GPA, but eventually I will be applying to a university that offers a Physical Therapy program. This is a fairly selective program to get into. Does anyone know much about returning students and the SAT. Is it even worth my time. I figure it couldn't hurt right?

Sharon,

Please read our Frequently Asked Questions and feature article College After Thirty about the SAT and a low GPA.

Most returning students do not even need to take the SAT.
