I am 43 years old, work full-time, and a mother of two children. I have been a teacher's aide for 7 years. I would like to return to college, get my degree and become a teacher. Does anyone have any suggestions for affordable online colleges or know of any programs that might help teacher's aides become teachers? Thanks

There are a ton of online schools around, especially if you watch the links on this website. University of Pheonix, Stevens Henager (Not sure of the spelling), Averett University...Just do a search in goggle for Online Colleges.

Also there is more to it sometimes than just the degree. What level of school were you most interested in teaching & also, which state do you want to teach in? There are some states that have additional certificate requirements which you will also have to factor in.
