I'm 20 years old, a single working Mom on my own. I work a full-time job as a receptionist. I am barely getting by. After some legal issues, then some sulking, I realized I need to go back to school. I mean full all out university experience. I did a brief semester and a hlf at a community college where I did excellent, then stopped going to class to work full time ending with a 1.7 GPA and 12 credits max. So here I am. I don't know where to start, I just wanna turn back time to after high school where I graduated with a 3.9 GPA. I want to become a Pharmacist. I have to do this for myself, I don't wanna end up 40, in a pointless, dead in job like the one I'm in now. I know I'm young and "I have plenty of time" but I have to do this now before time catches up with me and passes me by.

First thing, contact University of Phoenix. It's not for everyone, but right now you have a full plate and no support emotionally.

UofP program is setup with teams, you won't be going it alone because your entire program is with the same group of people, by email, telephone, etc. So, that may work for you right now.

I don't know if you've checked what courses you must have to get into a good pharmacy school, I do suggest you go find out. That way, when you start looking at undergrad programs you won't waste your time taking junk you don't need.

Think about it this way: You'll gain experience to help your little one when she's ready to go to college.

Life doesn't pass you by - life is what it is. Go now, go at 40, go at 60 or go at 80. It's never too late to do the things that are important to you.

Go Get 'em! wink
