Current Status:
-Have an AA in Liberal Arts with a 2.3 GPA
-5 classes away from a Bachelors in Music
-Absolutely horrible college transcript
-No longer live near the college I was attending.
-Very low GPA when I left.

My Desire?
-Start the whole degree over, including the AA

-A 2nd chance to do things right.
-A different perspective & value for
-A college degree in a new field
-Good grades
-Importance of succeeding with a clean
-A transcript speaks volumes of a person's consistency and will to excel in a timely manner. This can potentially affect me in moving higher in business when competing against other candidates for a position.
-I desire to pursue a degree in the field of IT...contrasting to music.

The good thing is that my employer helps to pay for classes so I'm thankful for that. I'm not looking to do the "College Experience" over. I just want a clean transcript in a different degree field and move on with life.

What do you put on an Entrance application when you want to start from scratch? I'd start at the community college level first. Would there be a problem doing this?

I'm curious what everyone's thoughts are on this.

Darlenee..join the club. You sound like I did about two months ago.

AA in accounting. Out of college for over 20 DO OVER in a different field.

I've decided to go with what I would have chosen originally, behavioral science with criminology minor. As for the AA..the credits may be used as electives, which will definitely cut down on my overall costs.

Hope this is what you were looking for as an experience.
Life is short, Live it up!
