Adult Education

The GED (General Educational Development) program was founded to give individuals who don't have a high school diploma the opportunity to demonstrate the academic achievement reached through the completion of a high school curriculum. The five tests explore literature and the arts, math, science, social studies, and writing.

For general information about the G.E.D. credential, see the American Council on Education's General Educational Testing Development Service and the PBS Literacy Link: GED Connection.
