State Virtual Universities & Online Consortiums

AllLearn.
An online learning consortium among Oxford, Stanford, and Yale universities, providing high quality, college level online courses and educational programs.

R1Edu.org.
Directory of distance learning providers that are members of the Association of American Universities and classified as "Research Universities I" by the Carnegie Foundation.

Online University Consortium.
The consortium assists corporations and adult learners whose education is funded through employee tuition reimbursement programs. Current members include Arizona State University, Field Graduate Institute, George Washington University, Kansas State University, Ohio University, Troy State University, the University of Colorado-Denver, the University of Illinois and Urbana-Champaign, the University of Michigan-Dearbon, the University of Southern California, the University of Texas-Dallas, and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

The Sloan Consortium.
Compilation of high quality online degree and certification programs offered by regionally accredited universities, colleges, and community colleges who are members of the Sloan Consortium.

GenEdWeb.
Distance education courses that fulfill undergraduate general education requirements.

KeyStone University Network.
Provides degree and certificate programs through Pennsylvania's fourteen state universities.

National Universities Degree Consortium.
The National Universities Degree Consortium offers quality courses and degree completion programs in a variety of distance education formats. Members include Washington State University, Kansas State University, and Colorado State University.

American Distance Education Consortium (ADEC).
International consortium of state universities and institutions providing distance degree programs.

CollegeAnywhere.
Provided by the Education Technology Consortium. The ETC includes 12 accredited institutions, including Camden County College, Community College of Philadelphia, Delaware County Community College and Montgomery County Community College as well as private institutions including Baltimore Hebrew University (Maryland), Gratz College, Manor College, Neumann College, Pennsylvania Institute of Technology, Ursinus College, Widener University and Wilmington College.

University of Alaska Center for Distance Education and Independent Learning.
Distance and online courses offered to residents of Alaska.

Arkansas Telecommunications Consortium.
The ATC airs telecourses to increase access to higher education.

Arizona Learning Systems.
Alliance of Arizona community colleges that share distance learning classes in cooperative partnerships.

Arizona State Universities Distance Learning Programs.
Degrees and professional certificate programs. Also provides a searchable database of courses offered through interactive television, online, CD-ROM and independent learning. An extensive variety of both undergraduate upper and lower division and graduate courses is available; several meet general studies and degree requirements.

California Virtual University.
Searchable catalog of accredited online courses and degrees offered by California colleges and universities.

Canadian Virtual University..
Canadian Virtual University (CVU) is a consortium of 11 Canadian universities that offer 2,200 courses and 280 degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Accredited, available around the world.

Colorado Consortium for Independent Study.
Participating colleges offer individual courses through complete online degree programs. Colleges include Adams State College, Colorado State University, the University of Colorado at Boulder, and the University of Southern Colorado.

Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium.
Association of 27 public and independent collegiate institutions providing distance learning courses and degree programs.
